Sowmya Children Hospital

Sowmya Children Hospital is located in D.D. Colony in the Bagh Amberpet area. We are right near the Sai Baba Temple, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. This neighborhood is mostly full of houses and families. We focus on taking care of kids. Our hospital is not a huge building like the ones in the city center. It is a modest place with several beds and the medical tools we need for children. Since we deal with kids, it is rarely quiet here. There is usually some crying or children playing in the hallways. We have been in Amberpet for quite some time now. Most parents around here know our name. We handle basic things like fevers and coughs but also more serious childhood illnesses. Every morning we start early to prepare for the day. The waiting room fills up pretty fast, especially during the monsoon season when kids get sick more often. We don't have a professional cleaning crew that stays all day, so we do a lot of the tidying up ourselves. The staff here are just regular people who live nearby. We don't have a big corporate board or anything like that. It is just a local hospital for the families in our community. We try to keep the atmosphere as relaxed as possible for the little ones. It is a busy life but we are used to the routine of the colony.
