Site Engineer

Living and working in the BHEL township area is quite different from the rest of Hyderabad. I’m over at Q.No:427/A in R.C. Puram. It’s a quiet spot compared to the city center, which I like. My work as a Site Engineer keeps me on my toes. Most mornings I’m out the door early to check on various projects happening around this side of town. The township has its own rhythm, and being based here makes it easy to get to the industrial zones quickly. My place is just a regular quarters, nothing fancy. I’ve got my drafting table in one corner and a lot of site equipment piled up near the door. It gets pretty hot in R.C. Puram during the summer, so I try to get the outdoor inspections done before lunch. I’ve been handling site work for a good while now, dealing with everything from soil issues to structural checks. It’s not a glamorous job, but someone has to make sure things are built right. I usually have a few drawings spread out on the floor because the table isn’t big enough. Sometimes the neighbors pop by for a chat, which is nice. I don't have a big corporate setup, just me and my gear. It works for the kind of local projects I take on. I’ve grown to appreciate the greenery around BHEL, even if my boots are always muddy. It is just the way it is here.
