Site Engineer

I’m based out of Flat F2 in Srinivasa Nilayam, which is over in V.N Colony in Moulaali. It is a busy part of Hyderabad, especially with all the traffic coming through. My days usually start with a quick check of the files before I head out to whatever site needs me that morning. Being a Site Engineer means I am rarely sitting at a desk for long. I spend more time looking at foundations and checking levels than I do looking at a computer screen. The office here at Plot 86 is simple. It is basically where the tools and the heavy stacks of blueprints live. You can find me there late in the evening sometimes, trying to catch up on the logs. The neighborhood is okay, plenty of noise from the street, but you get used to it. My boots are usually covered in some kind of dust by noon. That is just how the job goes. I don't have a big staff or anything, just some reliable people I call when things get moving on a project. It’s a bit of a climb up to the flat, but it keeps me fit. I’ve lived in this part of town for a while now, so I know the shortcuts to avoid the worst of the Moulaali bridge traffic. It’s honest work and it keeps me busy from Monday to Saturday, and sometimes even Sundays if the weather has been bad and we are behind schedule.
