Site Engineer

Our place is at Lig B 385 in Dr. A.S. Rao Nagar, over in Hyderabad-62. It is an older neighborhood, and we have been operating from here for a long time. The office is basically just a part of the house that got taken over by files, surveying equipment, and rolls of site drawings. It doesn't look like those modern offices you see in the tech parks. We have mismatched chairs and a bookshelf that is overflowing with old manuals. The work keeps us busy, often taking us all over this side of the city. We don't spend much money on advertising because people around here already know where to find us. Usually, you can tell we've been working because there’s a trail of dust leading to the door. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy about engineering. We just focus on the task at hand, whether it’s checking the steel or measuring the boundaries. It can be stressful when deadlines are tight, but we just put our heads down and get through it. Lunch is usually whatever is available nearby, and we don't mind the noise of the colony. It feels like a real community here. We are just local people doing a job we understand, and we don't try to make it sound like more than that. It is practical and straightforward. We handle everything ourselves and don't worry about the corporate polish that other companies might have. It's a busy life but we enjoy being here.
