Siri Impex

Siri Impex is located at Trt 168 in Seethpal Mandi. If you’ve ever been to a mandi, you know exactly what it’s like. It’s loud, it’s crowded, and there is always a truck being loaded or unloaded somewhere nearby. Our space is right in the middle of all that chaos. We deal with imports and exports, so there is a lot of checking boxes and looking at shipping documents. The TRT quarters are old and have a lot of character, but they aren't what you would call modern. We have our desks pushed together and the walls are lined with samples and old files. Most of our day is spent talking to drivers and workers who are moving goods through the market. We don't have a shiny storefront because we don't really need one. The people we work with know where to find us. It gets very dusty and noisy, especially in the mornings when the market is at its peak. We just drink our tea and get through the manifestos. There isn't anything fancy about how we run things. We just make sure the goods get where they are supposed to go and that the paperwork is mostly right. It’s a busy, sometimes messy way to make a living, but being part of the Seethpal Mandi community means there is never a dull moment. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily trade.
