Shetty'S Engineering & Construction Co. is based at 1-7-176 in the Bakaram neighborhood. It’s an older part of the city, and our office reflects that. It’s a bit cramped with all the files, rolls of blueprints, and surveying equipment we’ve gathered over the years. We do a mix of engineering and construction management from this spot. It’s not a shiny new building, but it’s sturdy and it serves its purpose. The streets around 1-7-176 can be narrow and a bit hard to navigate if you’re driving a big truck, but we’ve learned the shortcuts. Most of us at the company have been working together for a long time, so we’ve got a rhythm down. We don't use fancy titles or have big meetings to talk about "vision." We just look at the plans, head out to the sites, and come back here to handle the paperwork. Bakaram is a lively place, and there’s always something going on outside our door. Sometimes it’s a bit distracting, but it keeps us connected to the real world. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or polished. We’re just a bunch of engineers and builders trying to make things work from our base at 1-7-176. It’s a busy life, and we wouldn't have it any other way. If the office is a bit messy, it’s only because we’re usually out in the field getting things built. That's just how we operate.
