Syed Rahamathulla is the one running things here at H. No: 105C in the Railway Colony. Since we are right by Bhimavaram Junction, the sound of the trains is something we hear all day. You get used to it after a while, and it almost feels strange when it's quiet. This part of West Godavari gets really hot, so we always have the fans going. The house is part of the old colony and has a very particular feel. We do all our technical and engineering work right from this location. It might be a little hard for people to find us if they aren't familiar with the railway quarters. We usually have tools and parts spread across the big table in the middle of the room. The floor is made of cool concrete, which is a blessing in the summer. We don't have any big signs or a glass storefront. It’s just a home-based workshop where we fix things. Most of the neighbors work for the railway, so it's a pretty quiet area overall. Sometimes we sit on the porch in the evening just to catch a bit of a breeze. There's usually some oil on our hands and the smell of machinery in the air. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy. We have been here in AP 534201 for a long time. People around here know who to call when things break.
