Service Engineer

Our little setup is located at Chinnarao’s place on Vishalandhra Road. We’ve been here in Brahmanandhareddy Nagar for what feels like a lifetime now. The address is D. No:32-15/2-15, but most people just look for the shop with all the parts sitting out front. It’s a busy spot in Vijayawada and the heat can get pretty intense during the summer months. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just a couple of old ceiling fans that make a lot of noise. Our days as service engineers are mostly spent taking things apart and putting them back together again. It’s not glamorous work, and our hands are usually covered in grease or dust by noon. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know our way around a toolkit. People come by with all sorts of broken machinery and we do what we can to help them out. Sometimes the parts take forever to arrive, and we have to tell folks to come back next week. We don't like doing that, but it is what it is. The workshop is a bit of a mess, if I'm being honest. There are wires everywhere and old components stacked in the corners. We know where everything is, though. We usually take a break for some tea around four o’clock when the sun starts to dip. It’s a simple way to earn a living and it keeps us out of trouble. We just do the work.
