Senior Agent

Our spot is at Old B Type 5/1 in the Lab Quarters. Kanchanbagh is a bit of a specific area in Hyderabad 500058, and it has its own quiet, steady feel compared to the rest of the busy city. Being a Senior Agent means sitting at this desk for most of the day surrounded by files and old ledgers that have been here for years. The quarters have been around for a long time, and you can see it in the way the stone steps are worn down in the middle. We have a small garden area out front that someone tries to keep green, though the Hyderabad sun makes it tough in the middle of May. Inside, it is usually quiet except for the sound of the ceiling fan and the occasional car driving by outside. We keep the windows open to catch any breeze we can get, even if it brings in a little dust. The desk is cluttered with pens that mostly don't work and a heavy stapler that has been here since before I started working. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused on the tasks. It is a simple setup without any bells or whistles. People stop by every now and then to drop off documents or ask questions about the neighborhood. The walls are a pale yellow color that has faded. We know most of the people who live in the other quarters around here. It is just a steady, predictable place.
