Our Sasken office is situated at 601 in Venkataramana Colony, which is part of the KPHB 9th Phase in Kukatpally, Hyderabad. The zip code is 500072. It’s a pretty busy area of the city, and being on the 6th floor gives us a bit of a view of the rooftops around Kukatpally. The office is one large room mostly, with some partitions that don't really do much to block out the sound of people talking. We have a lot of old monitors and spare cables lying around on the shelves. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is when we need it. The elevators in the building can be a bit slow, so we usually end up waiting a few minutes at the start and end of the day. There is a small tea stall just around the corner from the building where most of us go around four in the afternoon. The atmosphere inside the office is pretty relaxed. We don't wear suits or anything like that. Most of us just show up in whatever is clean and get to work. It’s a practical space meant for doing a job, not for showing off to visitors. We deal with the heat by keeping the fans on high, though it still gets a bit warm in the afternoons. It’s just a regular Hyderabad workspace where a bunch of us try to stay productive despite all the distractions.
