A E Engineering

A E Engineering is located over at H No 4 8 31/6 in Manjeera Nagar. It’s a straightforward engineering workshop where we deal with a lot of fabrication and repair work. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and there is always the sound of someone grinding or welding something in the back. It’s not the kind of place you come to if you want to sit on a soft chair; we’ve mostly got metal stools and a wooden desk for the billing. We take on jobs from all sorts of people, from fixing a small gate to making parts for larger machines. Manjeera Nagar is a decent area for this kind of work because we have other suppliers nearby if we run out of materials. The shop gets quite dusty and it’s usually pretty loud until we close up for the evening. We have a few guys who have been with us since we started, and they know the machines inside out. We don’t really do any advertising; people just find us through word of mouth or by seeing the sign when they walk past. It’s hard work on the hands and the back, but there is something satisfying about finishing a piece of work and seeing it fit perfectly. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay busy. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out with some tea.
