Salafi Engeenering

Salafi Engeenering is located at 1-4-882/7 in New Bakaram, Musheerabad. It’s a busy part of Hyderabad and there is always noise from the street coming in through the open door. Our shop is where we handle all the engineering work that comes our way from local clients. There are tools everywhere and the floor usually has some metal shavings or oil spots on it. We don’t really clean up until the very end of the day because there is no point doing it twice while we are working. People come in with parts that need fixing or things they want us to make from scratch. We just look at the metal and see what we can do with the machines we have. Sometimes it’s really hot inside during the summer but we have a small fan that keeps the air moving a little bit. New Bakaram is a crowded place so finding parking near 1-4-882/7 can be a bit of a headache for visitors. Most of the people working here have been doing this for years and know the machines by heart. We aren't big on talking much, we just focus on the job. The name on the board is Salafi Engeenering but locals just know us by the faces they see every morning. We get our tea from the stall nearby and eat lunch together on the workbench. It’s a practical life. We don’t use computers for much other than the basic billing. If you need something fixed in Musheerabad, you usually end up walking through our door eventually. We just keep the doors open and get to work.
