Sadanand Engineering Works

Sadanand Engineering Works is located at 19/1 in the Azamabad Industrial Area. We are pretty close to the Udyam Office on Ram Nagar Road. The shop is mostly full of big lathes and some heavy drilling machines. It’s a loud place once the power is on and everyone starts working. We do a lot of custom metal work and machine repairs for the other factories nearby. The floor is concrete and usually has some oil patches here and there, no matter how much we sweep. We’ve got a small shed at the back where we store the raw iron and steel rods. It’s just a handful of us working here. Most of the guys have been with us for five or six years, so they know exactly what they are doing. We don't have any air conditioning, just the big open doors to let the breeze in. In the winter it’s okay, but the summers are tough. We keep a large water cooler near the entrance for everyone. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, someone has a broken part, hears about us from a friend, and shows up at our gate. We take a look, give them a price, and get to it. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on. Azamabad is a hardworking area, and we fit right in with the rest of the shops. We usually pack up by 6 PM when the shifts end.
