Our office is in Secunderabad, specifically at Durga Bhavan on R. P. Road. It’s a well-known building in this part of town, so most people don't have too much trouble finding us. We are in unit 141/18. R. P. Road is always buzzing with activity, so there is a constant hum of traffic and people talking outside our windows. Inside Dpk Engineers, it’s a lot quieter, though we do have our fair share of phone calls and discussions over technical drawings. The office has been set up the same way for a long time. We have our files, our computers, and a lot of old catalogs that we still refer to. It’s a practical place to work. We aren't really into the modern office look; we prefer having things where we can reach them. Most of our day is spent dealing with technical specs and talking to contractors. We usually take our lunch breaks together, and someone often goes down to grab snacks for the team. The building has that old Secunderabad charm, which means the elevators are a bit slow and the hallways are narrow. We don’t mind it because we’ve been here so long it feels like part of who we are. It’s just a place where we do engineering work and try to keep everything on schedule. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just show up and do the work.
