Roxy Roller Flour Mills Ltd.

Our mill is located at units 58 and 59 in the IDA, Phase-3 area of Jeedimetla. Roxy Roller Flour Mills Ltd. has been operating out of this industrial patch for a long time. It’s a noisy place to work because the rollers are constantly going, grinding down the grain into flour. You can always smell the wheat in the air as soon as you get close to the gate. The building itself is an old industrial structure with high ceilings and a lot of metal stairs. We spend most of our time monitoring the machines and making sure the grain is flowing correctly through the pipes. Dust is a constant battle here; it gets on everything, including our clothes and the paperwork in the small office. We have a team of guys who handle the heavy lifting, moving the big hundred-kilogram sacks onto the trucks that come in from the main road. The loading bay can get pretty chaotic in the mornings when several trucks arrive at the same time. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to handle public relations. Most of our business comes from long-standing relationships with local distributors. We just focus on keeping the machines running and making sure the orders are ready on time. It’s hard, physical work and the days can be long, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing the trucks leave full at the end of the shift.
