You can find our office up on the 4th floor of the Srinath Complex. It is located right across from the Taj Mahal Hotel on S D Road. Being on the fourth floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, but honestly, we spend most of our time just looking at our computer screens or talking on the phone with clients. Roadways India Ltd is the name on our door, but we are really just a group of regular people doing our jobs. The elevator in this building is famously slow, so many of us have just started taking the stairs if we are in any kind of a hurry. S D Road is always packed with cars, buses, and people moving around. It’s a very busy part of the city. Our office is strictly functional. We have the files we need, enough desks for everyone, and just enough coffee to keep us going through the afternoon. We don’t have any flashy signs or expensive furniture. We’ve been at this location long enough that most people already know where to find us. It gets a bit noisy during the peak rush hours, but we just close the windows and get back to work. Most of our day is spent handling the logistics of the business and making sure things are moving exactly where they are supposed to go. It’s not a glamorous job, but we take it seriously.
