I've been working here in Esamiya Bazar for quite some time now. If you know Koti in Hyderabad, you know how busy it gets every single morning. My name is Ravikumar and this little spot is where most of my day happens. It isn't a fancy office with big glass windows or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we get things done. People come by, sometimes just to ask for directions, and other times for the actual work we do here. The streets are narrow and the noise from the traffic is constant, but you get used to it after a few years. I started out small, just trying to figure out how to manage things on my own. Now, the routine is pretty much set. I open up early, check what needs to be finished from the day before, and try to stay ahead of the rush. There is a tea stall right around the corner that helps keep us going through the afternoon slump. Most of the people around here are regulars, so we all know each other's names. It feels more like a community than just a place of business. I don't really have a big speech about what I do. It’s just about showing up every day and making sure the people who walk through that door are handled properly. That is the way things work around Esamiya Bazar, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
