Rathi Impex

Rathi Impex is located at 14-8-576 in Chudi Bazar, right in the heart of Begum Bazar. If you know this area, you know how packed it gets. The streets are narrow and there’s always something happening. Our place is tucked away, and we’ve been here quite some time. We deal with wholesale trading. It’s a lot of boxes coming in and out. The shop floor is usually covered in packing tape and bubble wrap. It’s not the neatest place, but we know where everything is. We work with a lot of local retailers who come to us for their stock. Dealing with the crowd in Begum Bazar is a daily challenge, especially when we’re trying to load a van. You have to be patient. We don't have a big corporate structure. It's just a few of us making sure the orders are right. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we fix them quickly. The building is old and has its quirks, like the lights that flicker occasionally. We’ve thought about moving to a bigger, newer place, but we like being in the middle of the market. It’s where the business is. People stop by for a chat as much as for an order. We’ve built up many relationships over the years just by being here every day. It’s practical, honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until night. We just do our thing.
