Ramesh Swiss Watch Gallery is located at 130 Parklane. We are right opposite the Gandhi Statue in Secunderabad, which makes us pretty easy to find. Parklane is a narrow street and parking is always a big problem for anyone coming by car. Our shop has been here for quite some time now. We have those heavy glass displays for the watches and a couple of chairs for customers to sit on. The area around the Gandhi Statue is always full of life and sometimes there are gatherings or events right outside our door. We focus a lot on the technical side of watches, looking at movements and making sure things run like they should. It’s a lot of sitting still and being patient with small parts. The shop doesn’t have much in the way of decoration. We just have the watches and the tools we use to fix them. Secunderabad has a different feel than the rest of the city, a bit slower maybe. We know most of the other shop owners on this lane and we say hello in the mornings. Every day we roll up the shutters and start the day by checking the time on everything. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living and we’ve gotten used to the noise and the pace of Parklane over the years.
