Raj Hydromech Engineers

Our workshop is located on Mahakali Street in the Raniganj area. We are actually below the main street level, right near the Laxmi Vilas Bank. It’s a bit of an interesting spot because you have to come down to find us, away from the main noise of the road above. We handle engineering work, specifically focused on hydro-mechanical stuff. The air inside can get a bit thick with the smell of metal and lubricants, but we are used to it by now. Raniganj is a crowded place, and finding parking nearby is always a bit of a headache for anyone coming to see us. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decor. The benches are heavy, and the floor is concrete because we move around a lot of steel and heavy parts. Most of our customers are other business owners who need something fixed or a part made to a specific size. We just listen to what they need, take the measurements, and get to work on the machines. It’s not a quiet job, as there is always some grinding or drilling happening in the background. We stay busy with the local demand and don't really worry about much else. It is just a straightforward engineering shop where the work speaks for itself, and we try to keep the overheads low. We’ve been at this address for long enough that people just know us by name.
