Rainbow Creations

Our place is No. D-56 in Madhura Nagar, which falls under the SR Nagar Post area. We’re quite close to the Hanuman Mandir, so on Tuesdays and Saturdays, the bells and the music from the temple are a big part of our day. Rainbow Creations isn't a huge operation, just us working in this space and trying to keep everything running smoothly. The shop is tucked away a little bit, which we actually like because it isn't quite as loud as being right on the main road. We spend a lot of time organizing our materials and working on whatever new projects come our way. The light comes in nicely through the front window in the mornings, which is when we usually do the most delicate work. We’ve got a few old chairs for when neighbors stop by to talk, and the desk is always a bit of a mess with various tools and scraps. It’s a very local way of doing things, and we’ve come to know the rhythms of Madhura Nagar pretty well. The postman usually stops by around noon, and that’s our cue to take a quick break for some water or food. We don't have any big missions or corporate goals, we just want to do a good job and make sure the people who come to us are alright with what we’ve made. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we’re happy to be part of the neighborhood here near the temple. Most evenings we just wrap up and head home.
