Varun Engineers

Varun Engineers is our workshop. We are located at Survey No 15/vu in Suraram Village. This is part of Qutubullapur. It’s a bit of a trek to get here because of the narrow roads. The village is a nice break from the traffic. We have a good amount of space for our machines. It’s a bit of a messy place with metal shavings on the floor. We try to sweep every evening but it’s a losing battle. We have been working in Qutubullapur for a long time. People around here know we do engineering work. We have a few lathes and some welding equipment. The machines are old and we spend a lot of time maintaining them. It’s just how it goes with this kind of work. We don't have an office with a computer or anything like that. We do our drawings on a large wooden board. Our hands are usually covered in oil and dust. We don't mind. It’s honest work. Suraram Village is a quiet place and we get along with everyone. We have tea under the tree outside when we need a break. The shade is nice in the afternoon. We don't have a big sign out front. Most people just know where we are. We take things one day at a time. That’s the way we’ve always operated Varun Engineers.
