Sai Spurthi Packaging

Sai Spurthi Packaging is tucked away in the Ida Dhoolapally area at Sy No 150/1. It’s an industrial spot, so there are always lots of other small factories and warehouses nearby. We spend our days surrounded by rolls of packing material and stacks of cardboard boxes. The machines make a steady humming noise that you get used to after a while. It’s not a very pretty place, just a functional workspace with high ceilings and concrete floors. We do a lot of lifting and moving things around to make space for the next batch of orders. Usually, we have the radio playing in the background to make the time go faster. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. Most of our work comes from other businesses in the IDA who need their stuff packed up. The delivery vans come in and out of the gate all through the afternoon. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months, so we keep the big shutters open to get a bit of a breeze. There’s a small corner where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for the afternoon break. We just try to keep up with the orders and make sure the boxes are stacked properly so they don’t fall over. It’s just a normal packaging unit run by regular people who show up every morning to get the job done.
