The factory is out in Gaganpahad at Sy No 279 and 280. It’s a big industrial area, so there are always trucks moving around and a lot of dust from the roads. We’ve been operating here for a while now, focusing on making different kinds of food products. It’s a loud place most of the day because the machines are usually running. The floors are concrete and the ceiling is high, like any other plant in this part of town. We have a good number of workers who come in for their shifts from the surrounding villages. It’s mostly about keeping the production lines moving and checking that the packaging is done right. We don't have a fancy front office or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll just see the gate and the loading docks. We deal with a lot of raw ingredients coming in and finished boxes going out on the lorries. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially near the machinery, but we’re used to it. The team mostly sticks to their tasks, and we have our lunch breaks together in the small shed area. It’s honest work, making things that people end up eating later on. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on getting the orders filled so they can get to the shops on time.
