Prasad Mother And Child Clinic is right on the main road in Kushaiguda. We are situated directly opposite the Kushaiguda bus stand, which is very helpful for families who don't have a car. Being right beside the Government Primary School also means there are always kids around. The clinic is specifically for mothers and their children. It’s a small place, much smaller than a full hospital. We have a waiting room that we try to keep friendly for kids, though it can get pretty loud when several toddlers are there at once. The walls have some simple drawings on them. It’s just a local clinic run by a few people who care about the neighborhood. We see a lot of pregnant women for their check-ups and kids who need their shots. It’s a busy little spot, especially in the afternoons when school lets out. Sometimes the traffic from the bus stand makes it hard to hear, but we manage. We aren't part of some big medical chain. It’s just this one clinic here on the main road. We don't have any fancy brochures or a big mission statement on the wall. We just open up in the morning, see the families, and go home. It’s a practical, local place for parents in Kushaiguda to bring their kids when they need a doctor’s eyes on them. We just try to keep the atmosphere calm for the little ones.
