Our workshop is located at H. No: 21/28 in the Shanti Nagar Colony. It’s part of the Kanchanbagh area in Hyderabad, specifically near Badangpet. Pragati Micro Instruments Pvt Ltd is a place where we deal with a lot of small parts and technical equipment. It’s not a shiny showroom. It’s more of a functional space with workbenches, tools, and pieces of metal and plastic everywhere. We spend most of our time looking at small components and making sure everything is put together correctly. Shanti Nagar is a relatively quiet colony, which is good for the kind of detailed work we do. The office part is just a small corner with a computer and some filing cabinets for the orders. We don’t have a big staff, just a few people who know how to handle these instruments. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a bit of trouble finding the house number in the colony, but we usually go out to meet them. It’s a hands-on business. We get our hands dirty and we spend a lot of time calibrating things. There’s always the sound of someone working in the back or the hum of a machine. We aren't trying to be a giant corporation. We just want to make sure the instruments that leave our doors are working exactly like they should. It’s been our daily life here in Hyderabad for quite some time now.
