Sara Tool And Engineering

We are located at 10 4 85/2 in Fathenagar. It is a busy little corner. Sara Tool And Engineering is what we call ourselves, but mostly we are just guys who know how to use tools. We work with steel and other materials every day. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Inside, it is a bit cramped because we have a lot of equipment packed into the space. We try to keep things organized, but when you are in the middle of a job, stuff tends to pile up. We make parts that go into bigger machines. It requires a lot of patience. If you rush it, you ruin the piece, and that’s a waste of money and time. We don't like wasting anything. The air in the shop always smells a bit like cutting oil and burnt metal. We are used to it by now. The neighborhood is full of sounds from other shops doing similar things. It’s a community of makers. We don't have a website or anyone to handle customer relations. If someone wants something, they just come in and talk to us directly. It keeps things simple. We work until the sun goes down, lock up, and do it again the next day. It is a predictable and steady rhythm that suits us fine.
