We are situated up on the first floor at 2/109 in Shobana Colony. This is where we keep our CNC machines and do all the technical work that comes our way. The floor usually vibrates a bit when the machines are running, and it can get quite loud in here, but that is just part of the job. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints or digital designs before we set everything up to cut. It is precise work, so we have to pay a lot of attention to the details, otherwise, things come out wrong and we have to start over. We have been working in this space for some time now and have gotten used to the rhythm of the machines. There is always a smell of metal and cutting fluid in the air. We keep our tools organized as best as we can, though sometimes things get a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big project. Most of our day is spent standing by the equipment and checking the measurements. We don’t have a fancy front office or anything, just the workspace where the actual labor happens. People from around the colony know we are here if they need some custom metal work done. It’s just a regular workshop doing technical jobs for local clients and trying to keep the machines running without too much trouble every single day.
