Prabhakar Ausula

Prabhakar Ausula is based out of the Hyderabad GPO area in the 500001 district. It’s a very central part of the city, so we are right in the thick of it. My office isn't very big, but it’s enough for me and the few people who help me out. We have some filing cabinets that are overstuffed and a few plants that probably need more water than they get. The street noise is constant, but it’s the heartbeat of Hyderabad, so we don't mind it too much. We do our work, talk to the people who come by, and try to stay organized. It’s a very straightforward operation. I don't believe in having a lot of fluff. We just have the tools we need to get the job done. Sometimes we go out for tea when the afternoon slump hits. The building itself is old, with narrow hallways and a smell of old paper, which I actually quite like. It feels like a place where things actually get accomplished. We've been here for a good while, and most of the other shop owners on the block are friends of ours. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name on the directory. It’s a modest way of doing things, and it suits us just fine. We just show up every day and do our part in this big city. It’s not always easy, but it is what we do.
