My name is Sudheer, and I run Popuri Engineering out of my own place in Madhura Nagar, Ameerpet. My address is B-23/A, which is right in the heart of this very busy part of Hyderabad. Ameerpet is always buzzing with people, students, and traffic, but my little corner is where the actual engineering and consultancy work happens. I have been doing this kind of technical work for a long time now. It is mostly me looking at detailed plans, doing complex calculations, and trying to solve various technical problems that always seem to crop up during construction or design phases. I do not have a huge office with a receptionist or a waiting room. When you come here to talk about a project, you are usually talking directly to me. My desk is usually piled high with blue prints, technical manuals, and several different notebooks. It is a small operation, but it keeps me very busy throughout the week. Clients come from all over the city, and sometimes even further, because they need someone who will actually look at the small details. I spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting in front of my computer, but I also have to get out to the actual sites to see what is happening on the ground. It is not really a 9-to-5 kind of life. If a project has a tight deadline, I am working until it is finished. I have lived in Hyderabad for years and this spot works.
