You can find Neo Bbc Childrens Hospital inside the S. K. Mall in Vidyanagar. We are situated right across from the Durga Bhai Deshmukh Hospital, which is a big landmark around here. Our entrance is actually above the Bata showroom, so if you see the shoes in the window, you know you’re in the right place. Being in a mall on O. U. Road is interesting because there’s always a lot of foot traffic and people shopping nearby. We have to take the lift or the stairs to get up to our floor. The hospital isn't like a cold, empty building; it’s usually quite loud with kids and families moving around. We tried to make the walls look a bit brighter for the children, though we aren't interior designers or anything. The windows look out toward the other hospital across the street and the busy Vidyanagar traffic. Our staff spends a lot of time navigating the mall corridors to get to work. It’s a bit of a walk from the parking area, but we’re used to it. The desks are often covered in colorful stickers that kids leave behind. We spend the day checking files and making sure the rooms are ready for the next person. It’s a busy environment, especially on weekends when the mall is full. We just keep things moving as best as we can, focusing on the kids who come through the door. The mall lights always seem so bright in the evenings.
