Nagaraju General Stores & Retails

If you walk down towards the Shiva Kumar Indoor Stadium in Gosha Mahal, you will find us at House No 14-2-50. This is where Nagaraju General Stores & Retails is located. It is a basic neighborhood shop. We spend most of our day sitting here, waiting for people to stop by for their daily bread, eggs, or maybe some snacks for the kids. Hyderabad summers are quite hot, so we usually have the fan running full speed while we sort through the latest delivery of biscuits and cold drinks. The street outside can get a bit loud when there is a match or an event at the stadium, but inside, we just focus on the list of items people bring us. Sometimes the handwriting on the lists is hard to read, so we have to ask twice what they actually need. We keep a mix of everything, from notebooks for students to cleaning supplies for the house. It isn't a huge supermarket, but we have enough shelves to fit the essentials. There is no air conditioning or fancy displays here. Just wooden counters and piles of goods that people need every day. We know most of the faces that come through the door because they live right in the next lane. We just keep the shutters open from morning until late evening, making sure the local families have a place to grab what they forgot to buy earlier. Sometimes we run out of small change, but everyone understands.
