Sri Venkateswara Traders

Our shop, Sri Venkateswara Traders, is located at No. 6-1-89/12 in Bapujinagar. It’s a small place on a street with plenty of other little businesses. We mostly deal in trading various items that people in the neighborhood need for their homes or small projects. The shop isn't much to look at, just a door and some display shelves that have been there for years. We spend most of our time sitting near the front, waiting for customers or checking on our stock. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just a simple room with bags and boxes stacked up where we can find them. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names because they’ve been coming here for a long time. The floor is concrete and we sweep it out every morning before we start. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit mixed up, but we know where everything is eventually. We don't use a computer for our sales; we just use a bill book and a calculator. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when the delivery trucks arrive and we have to lug boxes inside. We stay open until the sun goes down and then we lock up the shutters and head home. It’s just a basic local shop doing business in Bapujinagar. We’ve been here for years.
