Mudgal Dry Fruits

Mudgal Dry Fruits is located right on Patel Road in Bangi Kunta. It is a very busy street with a lot of traffic and people walking by at all hours. Our shop is quite narrow, but we manage to fit a lot of stuff in there. We have bags of almonds, cashews, and raisins stacked up against the walls. It can get a bit cramped when more than two customers come in at the same time. We spend a lot of our day sorting through the nuts to make sure there aren't any bad ones in the mix. My father started this shop, and I took over after I finished school. The wooden counter is worn down from years of use, and the scales we use are old but they still work perfectly. Sometimes the dust from the road comes inside, so we are always wiping down the glass jars. We know many of the regulars by their first names and we know exactly what they like to buy every week. It’s not an easy job because the bags are very heavy to lift, and my back usually aches by the time we close at night. But it’s good to be part of the community here. We just try to keep the prices fair and the quality as good as we can get from the suppliers. We aren't doing anything special, just selling nuts and fruits to the folks who live and work around Patel Road. Some people have been coming to us since I was a little kid helping my father.
