Crpf Master Canteen

This is the Master Canteen for the CRPF Group Centre here in Jawahar Nagar, over in the Hakimpet area. It’s run under the guidance of the DIG who acts as the Chairman. We aren’t like a regular shop you’d find on the street. Our main job is to serve the personnel and their families who are stationed here. The canteen is a busy place, especially on weekends or when new batches arrive. We stock everything from basic groceries to household items that the families might need. It’s a pretty large operation because there are so many people to look after. We have a set routine for checking stock and making sure the shelves aren't empty. It can be a bit formal because of the setting, but the staff here are just regular people doing their jobs. We don’t do any marketing because we don’t need to; our people know where we are. The location in Jawahar Nagar is well-known to anyone in the force. We spend a lot of time on inventory and managing the queues when it gets crowded. It’s not about making a profit like a normal store, it’s more about making sure everyone has what they need at a fair price. Sometimes the deliveries are late or we run out of something popular, but we do our best to get it back in stock quickly.
