If you’re looking for us, we’re right near the Praveen Function Hall on Railway Good Shed Road. Rainbow Engineering Industries has been tucked away at 12 5 82/B in Moosapet for years now. You can usually hear the trains moving nearby on the tracks, which is something you just get used to after a week or two of working here. It’s a busy part of town, especially when there’s a big wedding or a party going on at the function hall next door. Then the road gets packed with cars and people, but we’re usually too busy inside the shop to pay much attention to all that. The floor is always covered in a bit of dust and metal shavings, no matter how many times we sweep it up at the end of the day. We’ve got our machines lined up along the walls, and the air smells like oil and old iron. It’s not a polished place. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the fan in the corner makes a clicking sound that never really goes away. We drink a lot of tea while we work, mostly just standing around the workbench talking. Our address is easy to find if you know the landmark, but the traffic in Moosapet can be a real headache on some days. We just stay focused on what’s on the bench in front of us. It’s a straightforward life. We show up, do the engineering work that needs doing, and head home when the sun goes down.
