G L V Engineering Works

We are over at 11 5 245 6 on H P Road, which is right in the heart of the Moosapet industrial patch. G L V Engineering Works is mostly a place where we work with our hands and a couple of heavy machines that have seen better days but still run fine. The area is always busy with trucks and people moving materials around. Our shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a door and a lot of metal stacked up. Inside, we keep busy with whatever orders came in that week. It might be some brackets, or maybe someone needs a part machined down to a specific size. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist. If you walk in, you'll probably find me or one of the boys covered in shop grime. We talk over the noise of the machines, and we usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background. It's a lot of standing on your feet and making sure the cuts are straight. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and we know most of the other shop owners on the road. We help each other out with tools or materials when someone runs short. It’s a basic setup, but it’s ours and we keep it going every day except Sundays. It's hard work, but there is something good about finishing a job and seeing it loaded onto a truck.
