Mega Mart

Mega Mart is tucked away in Venkat Rem Reddy Nagar. It is not one of those massive shopping malls you see in the city center. It is more of a local spot where we keep things simple. The space is filled with shelves that we built ourselves and they are packed tight with whatever we have in stock at the moment. We spend a lot of time just moving things from one side of the room to the other to make sure we can find what we need. The floor is plain concrete and it has some stains from years of work. It gets quite warm in Venkat Rem Reddy Nagar, and our small fans don't always do the trick, but we manage. There is a lot of noise from the neighbors and the kids playing outside. We don't have any marketing people or anyone to tell us how to decorate. We just put things where they fit. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the door to get some light. We have a routine of checking the inventory every morning with a cup of coffee. It is a bit of a grind, but we like the familiarity of the place. We don't pretend to be anything more than a working shop. It is just a practical place for us to be every day of the week.
