Me Industries

If you find yourself in the Balanagar industrial area, you’ll eventually come across Plot No.-C 61/2. That’s where Me Industries is located. The Apie area is always full of trucks and the smell of grease, and our spot is right in the thick of it. It’s a practical workspace, nothing more. We spend our hours on the shop floor, mostly surrounded by metal and the sound of machines doing their thing. The roof is high, which helps with the heat, but it still gets pretty warm by midday. We have a small corner for paperwork, but most of the real action happens out where the tools are. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We wear clothes that we don't mind getting a bit of oil on. Every morning we check what needs to be finished and just get to it. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It’s just the reality of working in this part of town. We’ve been at this plot for a while, and the routine hasn't changed much. We take our lunch breaks together, usually talking about anything other than work. It’s an honest way to spend the day, just making things and making sure they’re done right before the gate gets locked up for the night. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't.
