Matrix Consulting Ltd.

Up in Mahendra Hills, at Plot No 188 on Road No 4, things are a lot quieter than they are in the rest of the city. We chose this spot for Matrix Consulting Ltd. because we didn't want to be right in the middle of all the noise. It’s a bit of a climb to get up here, but the air feels a little better. Our office is just a converted space with plenty of desks and a lot of tangled wires under the tables. We spend most of our time talking to people on the phone or typing away at our keyboards. Sometimes we forget to look out the window because we are so focused on the work. We have a small balcony where we keep some plants, but they don't always get watered as much as they should. The kitchen has an old kettle that takes forever to boil. We don't really have a dress code, so you'll see us in casual clothes most of the week. People often get lost trying to find Road No 4, so we end up giving directions over the phone quite a bit. It’s a steady kind of life here. We handle the consulting stuff, file the reports, and then go home. It’s not fancy, but it works for us. We’ve been here long enough that we know the neighbors and the local delivery guys by their first names.
