Running a place like Market Services here on Pipe Line Road is always a bit of a challenge. Fathenagar is a crowded area, and the Balanagar traffic doesn't make things any easier when we are trying to get things moved around. We are at Plot No. 2-108, right where the road gets narrow and things get loud. Most days it is just about managing what comes through the door and making sure it gets where it needs to go. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping track of small details that most people wouldn't care about. I’ve lived around here most of my life, so the noise of the trucks and the shouting from the street is just background music to me now. My brother helps out when things get too busy, but mostly it is just me and a couple of local guys who live nearby. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still written down in the big ledgers we keep on the shelf behind the counter. The roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we just move the stock out of the way and keep going. People stop by to ask for advice or just to chat while they wait for their orders. It’s not a corporate setup at all. We just do the work and try to get home before the sun goes down. Some days are longer than others, but we take it as it comes.
