Our office for CVR News Channel is tucked away on Road Number 82 in Jubilee Hills. It’s Plot No 573J in the Navanirman Nagar Colony. Jubilee Hills is a quiet, nice part of town, which is a bit of a contrast to the news business. Things are usually pretty frantic inside, even if it looks calm from the outside. We have people coming in and out at all hours. News doesn't really stop, so neither do we. It’s not a shiny TV studio like you see in the movies. There are wires everywhere and a lot of old monitors. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at desks that have seen better days. It's a small crew compared to the big networks. We mostly just try to keep up with what's happening around the city and get the word out. The colony is peaceful, and we try not to disturb the neighbors too much with our late nights. Sometimes we grab coffee from the little shop down the road during breaks. We don't have a big fancy lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us busy at work. We’ve been at this location for a while now and it feels like home. It’s just a group of us trying to report what matters. The parking can be tricky on the road, so we usually park a bit further away and walk. We have a lot of files piled up but we know where everything is.
