Mariam Engineering Industries

We operate out of D/99, Phase I, in the Ida Jeedimetla industrial area of Rangareddy. Mariam Engineering Industries is basically a big workshop filled with the sound of machines and the smell of metal. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, as there’s always some oil or metal shavings on the floor by midday. We have a small office partitioned off in one corner where the desk is covered in blueprints and old coffee mugs. The roof is corrugated metal, so it gets incredibly hot in the summer months, and the fans just move the warm air around. Most of our guys have been working here for years and they know the machines better than I do. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. If you come to visit, you’ll probably find us in greasy overalls out on the shop floor. Jeedimetla is a busy place with trucks coming and going constantly, so there's always noise from the street mixing with the sounds of our drills. We take our work seriously, even if the building looks a bit worn out from the outside. The gate squeaks every time it opens, and we keep meaning to oil it, but we always get busy with an order and forget. It’s just a regular engineering shop doing our best with what we have here in Rangareddy.
