Manoj Brothers

Manoj Brothers has been operating out of this spot at No. 4-8-760/764 in Gowligudacha for a long time. We are right opposite the fire station, so we hear the sirens pretty often when they go out on a call. It is a noisy neighborhood but it has a lot of energy. Our shop is a bit of an old-fashioned place. We don't have fancy displays or glass cases. Most of the stuff is kept on heavy wooden shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. You have to use a ladder to get to the things at the top. We are a small group here, mostly family, and we have our own way of doing things. The floor is concrete and it has some cracks from years of moving heavy boxes around. We open up early in the morning, usually before the sun gets too hot. Dealing with the daily crowd in Gowligudacha is just part of the job. People stop by to chat or ask for things they need for their own shops. It isn't the kind of place where everything is polished and shiny. It is a working shop where we get our hands dirty and stay busy until the sun goes down. Sometimes we sit out front on plastic chairs when things get quiet for a minute. We know most of the people who walk by every day. It is just a regular life here at the shop without any big changes.
