Our office is on the ground floor of the MCH Complex. Being right at Budha Bhavanam means it’s always loud. MG Road is just like that, especially near the Boats Club side. There’s always someone honking or people walking past the windows. It’s an old building, so the walls are thick, but you still hear the city. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. It’s convenient for getting around, though parking is a nightmare. Most of us just take the bus or get dropped off. The space inside is quite simple. We have our files and some old equipment lying around. It feels lived-in. There’s a tea shop just around the corner where we go when we need a break. The light in the morning is quite nice before the sun gets too hot. We don't really have a receptionist or anything like that. If someone comes in, whoever is closest to the door just says hello. It’s a practical way to run things. We spend most of our hours looking at drawings or talking over the noise of the traffic. It’s not the quietest place to work, but it has character. We like being in the middle of everything. It makes the day go by faster. Sometimes we stay late when the weather is cool. The walls are a bit peeling in the corner, but we don't mind much. We have an old fan that wobbles, but it keeps the air moving.
