Mahendra Sales Corporation

Mahendra Sales Corporation is based in the Al Raheem building, which is at 5-4-93/4 on M G Road. We are directly opposite the Ranigunj Bus Stand, so there is never a quiet moment here. You can hear the buses pulling in and the conductors shouting all day long. Our office is a bit old-fashioned. We have high ceilings and those old wooden counters that have been worn smooth over the years. We sell industrial parts and equipment, so the place is full of metal bits and boxes. It can get a bit confusing if you aren't familiar with our filing system, which is mostly just stacks of paper on the back desk. We have a few assistants who help with the heavy lifting and finding parts in the back room. The light in the hallway is usually burnt out, so you have to watch your step. It’s a busy atmosphere with people constantly coming in to ask about prices or availability. We don't do much in the way of decoration; the walls are just covered in old calendars and charts. Sometimes we get a bit behind on the paperwork when the phone won't stop ringing. It’s a typical sales job in a very busy part of town. We just try to keep the customers happy and make sure the right parts go out the door before the sun goes down and we head home.
