Our shop is R12 located inside the Jagdish Market. Abids is a very central place and it is almost always full of people and cars. The market itself is a bit of a tight squeeze but we have grown to like it here. We handle watches and different kinds of timepieces mostly. It is a small space to work in, so we have to be very careful where we put our tools. There is always a lot of noise coming in from the busy street outside. You just get used to it after you have been here for a few years. We see many different types of people walking through every single day. Some people are just looking around while others have something very specific they want. We do not try to push anyone to buy anything. Most customers already know what they are looking for when they walk in. We just help them find the right item. It is a very practical kind of business. We fix things when they are broken. Changing watch batteries and fixing broken straps is what we do for most of the day. The lights inside the market can be a bit dim sometimes. We have our own small lamps to help us see the tiny parts. It is not a fancy corporate store at all. It is just a small stall in a very large market. We have been here long enough to know most of the other sellers nearby.
