Madhu Stamps

We are situated at 6-3-86, very close to the SBI branch at Balanagar X Roads. If you live around Balanagar, you probably pass by us all the time. It is a very crowded area and finding parking can be a real headache sometimes. We make stamps here. It is a small place and usually, our hands have a bit of blue or black ink on them by the end of the day. The machines for cutting the rubber make a specific humming noise that we have grown used to over the years. We see a lot of people coming from the bank next door because they forgot a seal or need a new one for their paperwork. It is mostly just us sitting at the counter or working on the designs at the back. There is always a pile of scrap rubber and some old stamp pads lying around. The light in the shop isn't the brightest, but we get the work done. We don't have any big sales pitches or shiny brochures to show you. People just walk in with a piece of paper showing what they want written, and we get to it. Sometimes we talk about the local news or the weather while the stamps are being prepared. It is just a regular life here at the crossroads, watching the traffic go by while we handle the small stuff.
