Madhu Engineering

If you find yourself near Canteen Road in Kushaiguda, you’ll probably spot our place. The address is a bit of a mouthful, 1-9-382/1/1, but we are easy enough to find if you look for the metal signs. We are an engineering shop, through and through. There’s always a project on the bench. Sometimes it’s busy and we have five things going at once, and other times it’s just one big job that needs all our attention for days. We don't have a fancy front office. There’s just a desk with a lot of papers and maybe a spare part or two sitting on it. The shop floor is where everything happens. We spend our time measuring, cutting, and fitting things together. It’s a noisy environment, but you get used to it after a while. The guys here have been doing this for a long time. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world or anything. We just want to do the work right and then head home. Often we are still there late finishing up something because we promised a neighbor it would be done. The tea stalls nearby know us well because we’re always sending someone over for a round of chai. It’s a practical way to live. We’ve been in this spot for years and know most of the people who run the other small businesses on the road. It’s a good community to be part of.
