Our small factory is on the ground floor at 8-3-966/13 in Nagarjuna Nagar, part of Sri Nagar Colony. It’s a decent neighborhood. When we are working, you can usually smell the chocolate from the street. It’s a lot of work to keep everything clean and at the right temperature. Chocolate is finicky stuff. We spend our time checking the vats and making sure the wrapping machines aren't acting up. We aren't a massive multinational company. We are just here in our ground-floor space doing the best we can with the ingredients we have. Sometimes the cooling system fails and we have a bit of a crisis, but we usually manage to fix it. The staff is just a group of local people who have learned the trade over time. We don't have a polished corporate image. Our office is just a small desk near the entrance where we track the sales. We don't use phrases like premium quality because we'd rather just let the product speak for itself. We’ve been in Sri Nagar Colony for quite a bit now. It’s a busy life, especially around the holidays when everyone wants sweets. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines running. It’s a sticky, sweet business, and we are just the people at Lotus Chocolate Co. Ltd. making it happen. We just make the chocolate.
